Labor Records releases Volume 6 of its 'Music and Tribute' series, distributed by Naxos. This recording project--my first commercial release--pays homage to Alban Berg and includes his Piano Sonata, Opus 1, his opus 2 songs as well as works written in tribute to this giant figure of early-Modernism by composers Giacinto Scelsi, Franghiz Ali-Zadeh, Ross Lee Finney, Jacob Gilboa, and Hans Erich Apostel.
